Clinic consultation
Your assessment, consultation and follow-up reviews take place in a clinical consultation setting. This is where expectations are discussed and instructions are given.
This part is consistent for every patient.
Where surgery is performed
Jelan Clinic works with partner hospitals for medical coordination, and some procedures are performed in a partner hospital rather than in the clinic itself. This is normal in aesthetic surgery: the appropriate setting depends on the procedure, the anaesthesia required and the clinical requirements of the case.
We do not imply that all surgery happens inside the clinic. Your individual written plan states exactly where your consultation, your procedure and your recovery will take place, and who is responsible for monitoring you. Hospital names are published once documented.
Recovery accommodation
Recovery may take place in a hospital room, a recovery area or your hotel, depending on the procedure and the plan. Transfers between these locations can be coordinated.
Accommodation and transport are supporting services. They are not the medical treatment, and they never determine clinical decisions.
What your plan must state
Your written plan should say where the consultation happens, where the procedure is performed, where you will recover, and who is responsible for monitoring you at each stage.
If any of those is unclear, ask before you commit to a date.
